Join a Gibside ranger for a 2 hour walk around Gibside. Hear about seasonal nature and wildlife highlights, which could include plants, animals, insects, fungi and more. You’ll also learn more about the conservation work that the rangers do at Gibside and might even get to join in with a survey. These walks are adapted to the season and weather conditions on the day.
This event is aimed at adults, although interested older children are welcome. Free, booking recommended as spaces are limited. Normal admission applies.

Please wear waterproof footwear and dress for the weather.
- Accessibility
The walk will take approximately 2 hours, but participants are free to leave early. The walk will feature uneven, mixed terrain so is not suitable for wheelchair or Tramper users. Wheelchair users may wish to join for the first 30 minutes, where the route covers more even terrain.
