Helios Under the Sun: Quiet Time
Enjoy peaceful time under the sun at Seaton Delaval Hall as we open the Saloon and Central Hall early at 10:15am to enable people to see Helios with a more relaxed feel.

This time is perfect to help people living with neurodiversity or additional sensory needs immerse themselves in the experience of seeing Helios without worrying about how busy the space will be.
During this time, access to the space will be for a limited number of ticket holders only. Helios’s accompanying soundscape will be switched off throughout this time. An accompanying subtitled film plays with Helios; its sound will be turned down.
A member of staff will be present in this space if you need any help or want to ask questions.
If you wish to borrow ear defenders for your visit, please ask at Visitor Welcome on arrival.
Sensory bags are available from Visitor Welcome; please ask on arrival.
Other sensory equipment is available from the borrow store in the Quiet Space. Please help yourself and return items when you have finished with them.
Normal admission applies but please book a ticket for quiet time. Carers are always offered free entry but please book a quiet time ticket to enable us to manage numbers in the space.
Please note that access for Quiet Time is for the Saloon and Central Hall only. Visitor Welcome opens at 10am. The Saloon and Central Hall will open at 10:15am.

Admission to property is free with your membership or standard admission applies. Tickets for Quiet Hour are free but must be booked ahead to support with capacity.
