Dear Future: I Leave This Place For You - Wallington
Find out how a gift in your will can help us protect and preserve the special places in our care.
- Booking essential
Without gifts in wills, we simply wouldn’t be able to look after the extraordinary places in our care. This special event will take you behind the scenes to see first-hand how your support is helping us carry out crucial conservation work every day, and how a gift in your own will could help to safeguard the future of our special places.
We will explore this estate gifted to you by Sir Charles Philips Trevelyan, visiting the impressive house where we highlight some of the beautiful furniture, treasured collections and quirky curiosities in each room. We will also discover more of the surrounding landscape and the hidden walled garden, nestled in the woods and host to the 'Garden of Imagination' which was made possible by a gift in will. At lunch you will hear from a local solicitor from the National Free Wills Network about the importance of an up to date will and we'll share information on how to access the National's Trusts free will service. You'll also have the opportunity to chat further with members of the team to learn about their work and why gifts in wills are so crucial.
