Imbolc walk
Join us on 01 February for a choice of 3 guided walks to learn about the amazing history of the Belfast Hills, Imbolc and connect with nature.

Visitors to the hills will be able to choose one of the three guided walks on offer, provided by Ligoniel Improvement Association, Cave Hill Conservation Campaign and the National Trust, supported by Belfast Hills Partnership.
The Belfast hills are rich in heritage, archaeology, folklore and is an area of outstanding beauty.
Each walk will start at one the three different locations (Divis & the Black Mountain, Ligoniel Dams and Belfast Castle), and will take visitors on a journey of discovery.
These walks will require a moderate level of fitness and require weather appropriate clothing & sturdy boots, we will be following tracks and trails and sometimes going off-path.
On each walk our guides will tell you all about what makes each area unique and what keeps them connected.

- Meeting point
For the Divis & Black Mountain walk, meet at the café barn for 9.45am.
- What to bring and wear
Sturdy walking boots and weather-appropriate clothing is essential, as part of this walk goes off-trail.
- Accessibility
Accessible parking and changing places facilities available at the café barn. Part of this walk involves going off-trail so it may not be suitable for everyone. A moderate level of fitness is required.
- Other
Well behaved dogs on a short lead are welcome to attend, limit of one dog per person.
