Harvest Festival is a vibrant celebration of food, crafts and entertainment at Florence Court.
Save the date! Harvest Festival returns to Florence Court on Saturday 26 October and Sunday 27 October 2024, 11am-4pm.
We strongly recommend bringing cash for the food and craft stalls.
We held our first Harvest Festival in October 2022. It started out as a community event celebrating the rich history of Florence Court Estate. It has since grown, and in partnership with Tully Mill, the event now brings together some of the best food producers in Fermanagh and the border counties.
This year is going to be even bigger and better, with a fantasic line up of food and drink vendors, and a new craft quarter with local artists and makers.
With kids' activities, self-led house tours, live music and face painting, Harvest Festival is fast becoming one of the highlights in Fermanagh's autumn events calendar.
The food festival will this year include stall holders from Fermanagh, Cavan, Monaghan, Sligo, Omagh and Belfast. Food vendors will be spread across the Kitchen Garden and the Cattle Yard. You'll receive a map on arrival showing you where everything is.
The Kitchen Garden will host a a range of artisan providers including:
The Cattle Yard is where you'll find live entertainment and more food vendors including:
Just outside the gates behind the Cattle Yard you'll find Dough and Arrow Pizza.
There's something for every taste bud!
The Laundry Yard was once a hive of activity on the estate, so it's fitting that it becomes a lively craft quarter at this year's event. Check out the fantasic range of artists and producers:
The front lawn of the mansion will become a childrens' playground for the weekend, with traditional games such as welly throwing, parachute games and more! Here you'll also find Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark, who'll be doing fun craft activities for our younger visitors.
If you fancy getting indoors for a bit, the Education Room will have colouring in activities, and this is also where'll you find The Party Bees face painting from 1pm-4pm (Located through the 'Property Office' door in the Stable Yard). They'll also be going mobile so you could find them anywhere the estate!
Fermanagh Storyteller will be telling tales by the fireside in the Colonel's Room, above the tearoom from 12pm-4pm.
Saturday 26 October - we're delighted to welcome back local Fermanagh band, The Porter Bellys. They'll be performing in the Cattle Yard from 1pm-4pm.
Sunday 27 October - the Armagh Rhymers will be performing across the Estate from 12pm-4pm.
A visit to Florence Court isn't complete without a look inside the historic mansion. With self-led tours you can move from room to room at your leisure, with room guides available for any questions you might have.
The tearoom and Riversdale Essence Gift Shop are located in the Stable Yard. The shop is full of beautiful locally handmade products, perfect for special gifts. Our second-hand bookshop, Nelly Woolys, will also be open all weekend.
When you're talking a walk around the beautiful grounds of Florence Court, stop by the Carpenter's Shop to hear stories from The Historical Society.
If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the event, relax in our quiet zone, located in Car Park 2. It's a small but quiet space with bean bags, books, fidget toys and soft lighting.
