Join our Area Ranger on a tour across the Downhill Demesne and Downhill Forest focusing on the work carried out by the National Trust. This tour will focus heavily on nature conservation on a historic site and will cover threats to nature, why protecting the natural environment is important and how the National Trust is helping to protect nature across Northern Ireland. Throughout the duration of the walk there will be the opportunity to do some bird watching along the cliff of the estate and in our woodlands, as well as discovering wildflowers found in our meadows. This walk will take between 1.5 – 2 hours, participants should wear suitable shoes/ walking boots, clothes suitable for the weather and bring something to eat/ drink.
