With an iconic cliff-edge temple surrounded by colourful gardens, historic ruins and the wild Atlantic Ocean, Mussenden Temple and Downhill Demesne is a place like no other. One of Northern Ireland's most iconic locations, this exclusive and exceptional place of enchanting beauty is licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies and offers a stunning and historic setting to make it a day to remember.

Your perfect day, your perfect venue

Built by the Earl Bishop in the 18th century, Mussenden Temple and the surrounding Demesne offer a beautiful and one-of-a-kind location for your wedding or civil ceremony.

Precariously perched on the edge of the north coast, the romantic cliff-side venue has an enviable reputation for being one of the most photogenic locations in Northern Ireland with its exceptional views across the Inishowen Peninsula and Causeway Coast .

We love celebrating love on the estate. Not only do weddings breathe life into the Temple but by choosing to have your special day here, you will also be actively helping us to care for and conserve these special places and spaces for future generations to enjoy.

Let your special day become part of our history.
