Kantha Embroidery Workshop
Have you ever wanted to learn how to embroider textiles?
- Booking essential
Have you ever wanted to learn how to embroider textiles? As part of a range of workshops in 2025, we are offering a full day Kantha Embroidery Workshop in the Old School Village Hall in Belton village.
Kantha is a slow, mindful activity which can have great benefits for mental health. It avoids textile waste by using up small scraps of fabric to make new items and can be used to repair worn or torn textiles. This form of embroidery adds to the aesthetic beauty of the textile and renews it, prolonging its life for further use and avoiding waste.
You will take away a small piece of Kantha embroidery at the end of your day and all materials will be provided.
There will be an hour’s break for lunch and tea and coffee are provided.
