Save Belton's train

Help us to fundraise for a brand new train with an environmentally-friendly electric engine and accessible compartment.

Why do we need a new train?

  • We have two train engines so that one can be used if the other needs repairs. Unfortunately, one of the engines was recently damaged beyond repair due to some large sticks being placed on the tracks
  • Our current train is 20 years old and while it is still greatly loved by our visitors, it's now coming to the end of its life and it's time for it to be updated
  • We want to ensure that our train doesn't damage the environment so want to replace our diesel engine with either an electric one or one that is more environmentally-friendly
  • Our current train is not accessible so we would like to include an accessible compartment in the new one.

  • You can donate when purchasing train tickets at the train shed
  • By texting Belton to 70525 to give £5
