Changes to admission into Clumber Park

For the past six years, we've worked hard to keep our prices at the same level, absorbing the effects of rising costs without passing them on to our visitors. However, the ongoing need to maintain one of the UK’s precious Grade I listed parks and its heritage assets means that, from 1 March, we will need to adjust our admission prices.
We understand how challenging times are for many, and we’ve carefully considered this change. We believe the new prices still offer great value, and we are committed to continuing to provide an exceptional experience for all our visitors.
The new prices will be:
- Adult: £6
- Child: £3
- Family (2 adults & up to 3 children): £15.00
- Family (1 adult & up to 3 children): £9.00
- Group adult (15 people+): £5.70
- Group child (15 people+): £2.85
Park improvements
Vast improvements have been made to Clumber in recent years, to the park itself through conservation and habitat restoration, but also to our visitor offer including improving accessibility, opening exhibition spaces and a sensory room, upgrading food and beverage outlets, creating a free-to-use Dog Paddock and holding free, large-scale family events such as Summer of Play and Walking with The Snowman.
We must balance being able to look after this historically significant park and its assets with providing a high-quality day out for visitors. Even with this increase, we believe Clumber continues to offer value for money with plenty to see and do.
Maintaining the park
As part of the National Trust, Europe’s largest conservation charity, we have a duty of care to hand Clumber over to the next generation of custodian in a better condition. This includes maintaining iconic features such as the Chapel and the Glasshouse in the walled kitchen garden. The first two phases of the Chapel roof repair project have so far cost more than £500,000 with a third phase yet to come, and annual maintenance of the Glasshouse alone costs £65,000.
Looking ahead
Over the next few years our focus must be on infrastructure and the delivery of three major projects: future-proofing waste and water, improving visitor facilities at Hardwick village and most importantly, developing better car parking.
This will include the creation of a 1000+ space hard standing car park a short distance from the main visitor facilities as well as 3 car parks in the wider park. We will share more details about this soon.

Becoming a member is still the best value option for visiting the National Trust and can be paid by monthly direct debit.
