Plant a seed

Join us at Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve to make a biodegradable newspaper plant pot and sow a sunflower seed to grow at home.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

Join us for a fun hands-on activity that the whole family will love. Together, we’ll turn simple newspaper into biodegradable plant pots, ready for you to sow a seed to take home and nurture.

No experience needed. Whether you’re a keen gardener or just love getting your hands a little messy, our friendly National Trust volunteers will be on hand to guide you. Everything you need will be provided, so you can simply enjoy the pleasure of planting and watching something special grow this spring.

This is a free event, and all ages are welcome. If you’d like to support us, donations are always appreciated to help cover the cost of materials. Come along, dig in, and let’s get growing together.
