Tours are included in the standard admission charge but there are limited places on each tour, so please ask about availability at our Visitor Reception.
We try our best to ensure tours go ahead. However, they can sometimes be subject to last minute change or cancellation. Please check with us before making a special journey.

The meeting point for the tour is outside the Visitor Reception building.

Please wear practical and weather-appropriate shoes and clothing.
- Accessibility
Our Visitor Reception is on the ground floor with ramped access. The route to Visitor Reception, and around some of the grounds, is over gravel, which is deep in places. Further accessibility information is available on the Castle's webpages.
