Workhouse Wellbeing Walks
Come and enjoy a social walk around Southwell and discover more of the local area surrounding The Workhouse.

On the last Friday of every month, excluding December, the Workhouse Walkers will take you on a different walk to discover the many footpaths around Southwell. Come and enjoy a chat, see what nature you can spot along the way and learn more about the local area. Each walk starts and ends at The Workhouse and is approximately 75 minutes long, with a shorter option of 30 minutes available.

30th May- Orchid Walk
27th June- Over the Fields
25th July- View from the Top
29th August- A Field Walk
26th September- River Walk
31st October- Autumn Colours
28th November- Up the Hills
For January and November walks, please meet in the car park via Workhouse Lane. For February-October walks, please meet in the main visitor car park via Upton Road.
Times
The basics
- Suitability
Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
Meet in the main visitor car park at 10.30 for a 10.45 start.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear appropriate footwear for walking on pavements, paths, and across fields and appropriate clothing for the weather. Please bring your own water with you.
- Accessibility
