Heritage Open Days 2024
Enjoy free entry for all to Claydon on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of September.

All entry fees will be waived for these two special Heritage Open Days! The site will be open from 10.30, with house tours at 10.30 and 11.00am (volunteer dependent). The house opens for free flow at 11.30 and the last entry is 14.45, with the house closing at 15.30 and the grounds at 16.30. In that time you can explore the history of the Verney family, visit our beautiful South Lawn or head over to the Claydon Estate for a bite to eat or some shopping. Make the most of the start of autumn by taking in the gorgeous views across the parkland and breathing in some fresh air!

The site has accessible parking, toilets and the ground floor of the house is wheelchair-friendly, with a virtual tour of the property for those staying downstairs. The gardens are accessible from the West Terrace, with a path stretching across the back of the house. There are steps at the back of the garden.
