Landscape Oil Painting for Beginners
30 August: work on your own landscape oil painting with expert guidance.
- Booking essential
Taking inspiration from the local landscape, you'll be guided through the process of using oil paints and a palette knife to capture a view. You'll take your finished painting home with you.
This workshop is designed for beginners, no experience required.
Your tutor is Rupert Aker, a landscape painter based in the Cotswolds. Using oil paints and palette knife to create impressionist paintings, he works directly from nature where possible, and has been inspired by local places such as White Horse Hill.
Our class sizes are small, so you'll have a chance to engage with the tutor while you work.
This Landscape Oil Painting for Beginners workshop takes place on Saturday 30 August (Sunday 13 July sold out), 10am-3.30pm. There will be a break for lunch and a mess room to eat lunch in, alternatively there is an on-site café. Tea and coffee provided.
