Join one of our free, friendly led walks. Meet new people, discover new places and improve your health and wellbeing. We offer regular walks for different levels of ability across the Chilterns.

Walk with us to explore the beautiful Chilterns countryside.
Our walk leaders are trained volunteers who will offer a warm welcome and support.
We offer regular walks for people of different levels of ability at various locations across the Chilterns on 1st Friday and 4th Wednesday each month:
• Saturday 10 May 11:00-12:00: Hughenden Manor & Upper Parkland Walk (Grade 1)
• Saturday 17 May 10.30-13:00: Hughenden & Downley Common Walk (Grade 4)
• Friday 6 June 11.00-12:15: Woodcock Woods & Echo Valley Walk (Grade 3)
• Wednesday 25 June 11.00-12:30: Hughenden Park & Chalk Stream Walk (Grade 3)
• Friday 4 July 11.00-12:30: Woodcock Woods Walk (Grade 2)
• Wednesday 25 July 11.00-12:00: Hughenden Manor & Upper Parkland Walk (Grade 1)
There are different grades of walks. Please choose the ones that are right for you. The walks are taken at a steady pace to suit everyone so you don’t need to worry about being left behind, the walk leaders will ensure that the group stays together.
Grade 1: A walk at a gentle pace on fairly flat surfaces, no stiles and regular stopping places.
Grade 2: A walk with moderate hills, possible stiles
Grade 3: A faster paced walk with moderate hills that may include short steep slopes, steps or stiles.
Grade 4: A faster paced challenging walk that includes hills, stiles or step

- What to bring and wear
Dress for the weather and wear shoes suitable for walking, for example walking boots or trainers.
- Accessibility
Please note that walks are in the countryside and may be on uneven ground, which can be muddy when wet.
- Other
Dogs welcome, please keep them under close control & on a lead if around livestock or if requested by the walk leader.
