Christmas at Stowe Gardens

Marvel at the giant Christmas tree that fills the New Inn courtyard, decked with twinkling lights and lovingly decorated by the team at Stowe. Cosy up in the cafe with festive treats and indulgent hot chocolates. Pick up beautiful gifts for friends and family in the shop. Get lost in our second-hand bookshop and make memories with loved ones at Stowe this winter.

A Christmas Wish - 30 Nov - 6 Jan

See how wishes are sorted at Wish HQ Sorting Office and then set off on a festive adventure around New Inn and the Gardens. Enjoy a wish walk in Lamport, solve wish puzzles, take selfies at our ‘wish you were here’ selfie station and wish upon a star in the Temple of Venus! Add your own wishes to our wish tree and vote on the Stowe team’s wishes for nature.

New Year at Stowe

It won’t be long before you see the gardens bursting with snowdrops or as we fondly like to call them ‘Stowedrops’. Enjoy chilly walks in the New Year to spot the early signs of them peeping through as they develop in the masses throughout the Elysian Fields, Sleeping Wood and Lamport Garden.

We look forward to bright days reflecting rays across the glittering lakes, the chatter of birdsong filling the air and crisp breezes that take your breath away on refreshing walks in the gardens.
