Guided Tours at Stowe Gardens
Are you interested in the history of Stowe Gardens? Join us for a free guided tour led by our tour guide volunteers every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11am.

When are our guided tours? There will be a free guided tour every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11am between Tuesday 1 April and Thursday 30 October in 2025. All guided tours begin at Bell Gate. Additional tours are subject to availability and normal garden admission applies. Tours will last approximately 1 hour - 1 hour 30 minutes.

Do I need to prebook? No prebooking is required for our guided tours.
Are dogs allowed? Dogs on short leads are welcome to join our guided tours.
Can I become a tour guide? Yes! If you are interested in becoming a volunteer tour guide at Stowe Gardens, please contact us at getinvolved.stowe@nationaltrust.org.uk.

Use postcode MK18 5EQ for Stowe Gardens car park. Upon arrival, make your way to Bell Gate.

800m walk to garden entrance from car park. Free access shuttle operates daily from cafe to garden entrance. Plenty of accessible parking. Accessible toilets at New Inn, by the cafe, and at the garden entrance. Accessible vehicles available to hire (phone in advance to book).
