Big Butterfly Count and Guided Walk
Come and celebrate the launch of Butterfly Conservation’s annual Big Butterfly Count with us!
- Booking advisable
- Free event (admission applies)
The Big Butterfly Count is a citizen science scheme encouraging people to do butterfly surveys between the 12 July and 4 August.
Join our rangers on Sunday 14 July for guided walks through some of our wildflower meadows to look for butterflies and moths and learn about our conservation work. There will be an hour guided walk followed by an opportunity to spend 15 minutes doing the Big Butterfly Count, contributing to our biodiversity records and the national survey.
Meet us at Bell Gate Kiosk for either the morning walk at 10.30am, or the afternoon walk at 1.30pm. The walk is free (normal admission to the garden applies), but to guarantee your place please book your space.
