Summer Young Ranger Programme
Are you 13-18 years old and interested in getting outdoors, learning more about nature and meeting new friends this summer? Then the Summer Young Ranger Programme is for you!

Over four sessions across the summer holidays the Young Ranger Programme includes a range of practical conservation and ecological survey work, enabling you to develop your skills and make a real contribution to Stowe.
Sessions run on four Wednesdays between 10.30am until 2.30pm, with the outline programme below:
Wednesday 24th July: Bug Hotel Construction
Wednesday 31st July: Meadow Management Day
Wednesday 21st August: Species ID and Survey Skills: Reptiles and Butterflies
Wednesday 28th August: Birdbox Building and Bird ID

- Meeting point
Please use postcode MK18 5EQ for Stowe Gardens car park and head to New Inn where you will be greeted by a member of the team.
- What to bring and wear
Dress in clothing suitable for working outdoors and in the weather conditions. Sturdy footwear e.g. walking boots, trainers.
