Explore the seasonal highlights of Stowe on this social walk, led by Ranger and Gardener staff. Ramble around the gardens and enjoy the first flowers of the year including snowdrops and winter aconites. Admire winter trees and look out for wildlife including woodland birds and wildfowl. Everyone of all ages and abilities are welcome to come and join in to learn some more about nature at Stowe and have a good walk!
Meet the team outside Bell Gate Kiosk to join the walk, the walk is free but please book in advance to secure your place or ask at the kiosk on the day. The walk will last about 1.5 hours at a gentle pace, covering about 2.5 miles on a mix of gravel and grass paths with some inclines, please let us know if you have any questions about the walk route. Use postcode MK18 5EQ for Stowe Gardens car park and meet us at Bell Gate to begin the walk around the gardens.

Dress for the weather.

Plenty of accessible parking. Accessible toilets at New Inn, by the cafe, and at the garden entrance. Please note however the walk is around 2.5 miles long and includes a mix of gravel and mown grass paths with some gentle slopes.
