Book your visit
Advanced booking is essential for visiting Waddesdon house, with grounds-only booking also available.
You'll need a ticket to explore both the house and grounds of the illustrious Waddesdon, which is managed by the Rothchild Foundation on behalf of the National Trust. Discover how to book timed entry tickets to this French Renaissance-style château, as well as how to book grounds-only entry and secure your place on the shuttle bus.
All visitors, including National Trust members should book their timed house entry in advance as there is limited capacity, especially at weekends and during school holidays. Please note that the house re-opens on Wednesday 26 March.
Please book an entry time at least 30 minutes after you plan to arrive to allow sufficient time to get from the car park to the house.
If you do not wish to visit the house itself, you can also book grounds-only admission to explore the garden. It is not essential to book Grounds tickets in advance.
There is a shuttle bus option available if you do not wish walk from the car park. This is also pre-bookable as you book your tickets. Blue badge holders and accompanying carers can use this service for free.
Throughout the year various activities take place, including tours of the walled garden, wine and food events, exhibitions and cultural events. You will see these events when you click through to book.
Although you will not be able to access the house until the time stated on your ticket, grounds admission – which is included with your house booking – is anytime from 10am.
If you are a National Trust member please bring your membership card with you as these will be checked on arrival.
