Guided by Nature: Nature Walk
Ramble through the lower parkland on our Ranger led nature walk and discover more about Hardwick butterfly and Grass Snake population.

Join our ranger team to complete one of Hardwick’s established survey transects which will take you through a variety of habitats with the hopes of seeing and learning about different wildlife.
This route will be on uneven terrain so appropriate footwear is needed. This walk should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Hot drinks and snacks can be purchased at the beginning and end of the walk. For the comfort of the group, please leave your dogs at home.

Suitable for children aged 14 or over.
- Meeting point
The Nature Walk will take place from the Park Centre location, please do NOT arrive at Hardwick's main car park at the top of the hill.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear sturdy outdoor shoes and dress for the Great British Weather. Bring appropriate snacks and water if needed.
- Accessibility
There are accessible toilets located at the Park Centre, please note that this walk is along uneven terrain and is not wheelchair/pushchair accessible.
