Butterfly Walk

Ramble through the lower parkland on our Ranger led Butterfly Walk.

Join a Ranger to complete one of Hardwick’s established butterfly transects which will take you through a variety of habitats with the hopes of seeing and learning about an abundance of butterfly species.

This route will be on uneven terrain so appropriate footwear is needed. This walk should take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.

Hot drinks and snacks can be purchased at the beginning and end of the walk. For the comfort of the group, please leave your dogs at home.

Meeting point

The Butterfly Walk will take place from the Park Centre.

What to bring and wear

Please wear sturdy outdoor shoes and dress for the Great British Weather. Bring appropriate snacks and water if needed.

Accessibility

There are accessible toilets located at the Park Centre, please note that this walk is along uneven terrain and is not wheelchair/pushchair accessible.
