Hardwick is opening its gates to both members and non-members of the National Trust to explore the hall, gardens and parkland for free!

From Mill to Mansion! Visit Stainsby Mill, the Hardwick Estate’s Victorian water mill and learn about the innovative technology, this is also taking part in National Lottery Open Week on the 15, 16, 21, 22 & 23 March.

To visit Hardwick and Stainsby Mill for free, please bring with you a valid National Lottery ticket, Instant Win Game, or scratchcard (physical or digital).

Booking details

There's no need to book. Hardwick has free flow entry.

Accessibility

Accessible parking can be found towards the front of the car park. There are accessible W/Cs and a Changing Places toilet in the Stableyard. Buggy Service is available on request. Trampers and wheelchairs can be hired but please book these in advance to avoid disappointment. There is no lift in the hall. Induction loop can be found at multiple locations.
