Dark Stories from the Tapestries: Storytelling Tour

Get in the spooky spirit this Hallowtide and listen to the grisly tales of the characters depicted in the famous Hardwick tapestries.

  • Booking essential

Tour through the hall and learn the hidden histories of Hardwick’s most spine-chilling tapestries.

The length of the tour is roughly 1 hour 40 minutes and is led by our team of expert storytellers to share the tales of Hero & Leander, Penelope & Ulysses and Artemisia.

Included in the ticket price will be a takeaway Hot Chocolate or Pumpkin Spice Latte as you leave at the end of the tour.

Please note this tour will touch on themes of punishment, suicide, death and war, but don’t fret! These stories are designed to be family friendly for children aged 8 years and up!
