Wear the correct footwear for the terrain and weather and use a stick they are not just for old people! Make sure to have either energy, sweets, biscuits, nuts or a chocolate snack will do the trick. Take time to savour the views whilst breathing deeply, I find this very relaxing. - Billie, Walk Leader

My top tip is to engage all the senses when you walk and embrace whatever the weather is doing. Go out in the rain or on a cold or windy day and notice how the weather brings different sights, sounds and feelings. - Graham, Walk Leader

Self guided walks

Walk at your own pace and try one of Hardwick's many trails and walks through the historic parkland. We recommend the new Sculpture Walk which takes you through key historical elements of the Hall's history and spot beautiful sculptures by the Hardwick Masons along the way. Check out some of the information you'll spot below!
