Join us for a fun and engaging session where you'll learn the fascinating process of transforming unwanted textiles into surprisingly strong and versatile recycled string. Join our volunteer craft leader who will guide you through each step, from selecting the right fabrics and preparing them for cutting, to mastering the simple techniques of creating continuous strands of usable string. You'll be amazed at the variety of textures and colours you can achieve, turning what was once destined for landfill into a valuable resource. This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in upcycling, crafting, sustainable living, or simply learning a new and rewarding skill. Bring in some fabric you'd like to use or pick from our supplies.
