Get ready for a feathered adventure this February Half term and explore Ilam Park with our self-led bird trail.

Explore Ilam Park this half term with our Wonderful Winter Birds self led trail for £3. Look high in the trees, low along the river Manifold and on our bird feeders to see what our feathered friends are doing this time of year. Walk along our accessible path and try and spot all 10 of the hidden birds and learn along the way. Don't forget to finish your adventure off by coming back to the welcome hut to collect your prize: a DIY bird box kit. Decorate this in our bookshop or take it home to enjoy.
There is no admission charge to Ilam Park and this event, like all our events is open to members of the National Trust and non members. All money raised goes straight back into looking after the White Peak.

The basics

Pick up a £3 trail sheet at the welcome hut between 10:30 and 14:30
- What to bring and wear
Dress for the weather, this might mean bobble hats or raincoats or both!
- Accessibility
The trail is self led letting your explore at your pace, the hidden birds are placed along the accessible path.
