- Booking not needed
- Free event
We’ve got opportunities to play, to create, to be inspired and much more. Expect a festival feeling and plenty of activities and events to explore and enjoy for all the family.
Pepperpot the mole: We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with acclaimed artist Bruce Asbestos, who will be exhibiting new work inspired by the landscape at Ilam Park this summer. Meet Bruce's latest character, Pepperpot the Mole, and take part in an exciting trail inspired by the work, which encourages visitors to hunt high and low and learn a little along the way. Alongside the sculpture we will also be running 10 free drop in kids craft workshops, held in our riverside bell tent inspired by Bruce's work. Made possible with funding from Arts Council England.
Summer of Play: Bigger and better than ever, Summer of play is back! Join in the festival feeling and explore the many exciting play opportunities for all ages, from tiny tots, to not so grown ups! Spot fluttering flags and colourful bunting as you discover play around every corner, in our beautiful parkland, our hidden play garden, next to the river and further. Join us through the week to drop in and play or book onto one of our exciting events on the weekends and select dates. Proudly sponsored by Starling Bank.
There’s so much to see and do at Ilam Park this summer this is just a taste! See our events page for a full line up of what’s on.
