History Walk: Burbage Through Time
A moderate 3-mile walk of Burbage and Houndkirk. Discover the history of the landscape through the evidence of it's past users including travellers, skilled artisans, road builders, soldiers and the scars of WW2.

Walk in the footsteps of a host of historic characters on this moderate circular walk of the Burbage Valley. Along the route, our knowledgeable walk leader will explore hidden archaeological features which reveal the industrial past of this now peaceful landscape.
This moderate walk includes road crossings, a moderately steep ascent, and follows an uneven footpath. There are also short detours across moorland to visit sites of interest. Dogs on leads are welcome but there may be some stiles.
