Fill your summer with these drop in activity sessions at the Moorland Discovery Centre.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer holiday, join in the drop in activities in the Moorland Discovery Centre. Ideal for children and the young at heart. Free of charge, pre-booking not needed. Leave your name with one of our team on the day and they will assign a timeslot for your morning or afternoon session.

Due to the popularity of the archery sessions, you may be asked to sign up for a timeslot and come back later in the day.

The basics

Suitability

Children welcome, must be accompanied by an adult.

Meeting point

Moorland Discovery Centre, accessed from Woodcroft car park.

What to bring and wear

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for being outside in the summer.

Accessibility

Accessible parking is available in Woodcroft car park. There is a step-free slope down to the Moorland Discovery Centre itself, where there is an accessible toilet and baby change.
