Summer of Play at Longshaw
From games and sports sessions in the grounds of the Moorland Discovery Centre, to getting stuck in with some family conservation volunteering, this summer there's a whole range of activities for you to try at Longshaw.

Each Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the summer holidays, the Moorland Discovery Centre is host to free games and activities, plus the chance to help our rangers look after this wonderful place. We'll add more detail about the sessions to this webpage as the summer approaches.
All ages are very welcome, but as a guide, Moorland Discovery Centre activity sessions are designed for children aged 5-10, while the conservation volunteering sessions suitable for ages 8 and older.
