May half term: sweep netting at Staunton Harold
Bring along your little explorers and uncover the hidden world of mini beasts on a sweep netting expedition.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Grab a net and join the rangers in Staunton Harold's spectacular wildflower meadows on a drop-in sweep netting session.
Sweep your net through the long grasses and see what creepy crawlies are hiding beneath. Then work out what you've found using easy-to-follow ID cards, magnifying glasses and our Rangers expertise.
As well as enjoying time in nature and learning something new as a family, you'll also be contributing to our conservation work, as gaining an understanding of the species that live here helps us to continue looking after this thriving habitat for wildlife.
