Have you ever wondered what stood behind the attic door at The Children's Country House at Sudbury? Now's your chance to find out with guided tours taking place on Mondays. Led by guides, venture into spaces not usually open to the public and learn about the lives of servants at Sudbury Hall. Each tour is approximately 45 to 50 minutes, and visitors can have the option to add-on a Cream Tea at the end, including a fruit scone, jam, cream and any regular hot drink. Cream Tea will take place 15/20 minutes after each tour.

Aimed at children over 12 and adults.
- Meeting point
For the tours, please check in at Visitor Services first and meet at the Side Hall. For the cream teas, please meet at the Ice Cream Parlour located in the Stableyard.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable footwear as there is an uneven floor and steps.
- Accessibility
There is no step-free access on the attic tours, and there are approximately 78 steep stairs to take.
- Other
General admission to the property applies. A maximum of 10 in each tour group. Please complete the attic tour first and then head over to the Parlour for the cream tea. Cream Tea and Attic Tours must be booked in advance.
