Chinese Calligraphy Taster Class

Try your hand at traditional Chinese Calligraphy with the help from an experienced teacher from Manchester University's Confucius Institute.

Celebrate Lunar New Year by trying your hand at Chinese Calligraphy.

This session will be an introduction into this traditional art form, learning how to use traditional brushes and ink and the basic strokes that underpin Chinese writing. You will be guided by an experienced teacher from Manchester University's Confucius Institute.

Tickets also include admission into Biddulph Grange Garden.

Suitable for aged 10 and over. Must be accompanied by participating adult.

Please show your email confirmation at Visitor Reception. The session will be held in the Camelia House.

What to bring and wear

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
