Whether you are fuelling up before a walk or seeking a treat to enjoy after your day revelling in the beautiful Shropshire Hills, you will find it all at the Chalet Pavilion Tea Room.
Chalet Pavilion Tea Room
A perfect place to stop all year round, rest your legs and refuel. Enjoy a slice of cake and a hot drink or a light lunch in the spacious tea room. During the winter months, the tea room is kept cosy by a real wood stove in its centre and there is extra seating outside on the roof terrace for warmer days. Dogs are welcome in the tea room, and dog owners will find a waterbowl for their thirsty pet. For children, there are a range of highchairs and toddler chairs available along with colouring sheets to enjoy.
Ice Cream Parlour
On a hot day, treat yourself to an ice cream from the Ice Cream Parlour and enjoy the view of the hills outside. Serving a selection of wrapped ice creams and a range of delicious flavours of Churchfield's ice cream from Worcestershire.
Second Hand Books
In the tea room, there are several shelves of second hand books to buy. All proceeds go towards the National Trust's work in Carding Mill Valley and on the Long Mynd.
Picnics
Bring your own food and relax with a picnic in the great outdoors. Please take your litter home with you.
No Barbeques Allowed
Please note that there are no barbeques, fires or naked flames permitted anywhere in Carding Mill Valley or Long Mynd. Very high fire risk.

Every time you present a reusable cup when you order a hot drink at one of the cafés, tea rooms or kiosks*, we'll give you 25p off as a thank you for helping the environment by reducing the number of disposable cups used. This promotion replaces the previous hot drinks loyalty card scheme. *Discount not guaranteed at food outlets operated by third parties.
