Step 1

Follow the named yellow waymarker discs. From the car park head towards Wilderhope Manor and take the track to the left which runs around the back of the manor house. At the junction bear right then continue straight on walking between two hedge lines and downhill to a small wooded stream. (leaky dams have been installed along this stream to help slow the flow of water during flood events).

Step 2

Climb over a stile into the fields and continue ahead across the field and then up a steep slope towards the woodland.

Step 3

Climb another stile into Stanway Coppice and follow the track uphill through the lovely Beech woodland.

Step 4

At the junction take the path to the right and follow it down some steps and over a stile back into the fields where you will have a stunning view of Hopedale and Wilderhope Manor.

Step 5

Walk straight down the slope through the fields and across the stream. Continue following the track as it bends right and left climbing a stile finally bringing you past the farm buildings and back to the car park.
