Walk through time as Taunton Garrison bring 1000 years of history to life at Dunster Castle.

- Free event (admission applies)
Members of the Taunton Garrison will be back at Dunster Castle on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August.
A living history camp will be set up on the forecourt of the castle for visitors to experience the sights, sounds and smells of different periods throughout the castle’s 1000 years of history. Learn more about what camp inhabitants ate, how they dressed and learn about the weapons they used to attack and defend, from Vikings to the WW1 Soldier. The day includes firing of the garrison's muskets during weapon demonstrations plus the opportunity for children to take part in a pike drill. A journey through time awaits you…
