Launching on 23 November 2024, Montacute House welcomes Father Christmas’s reindeer back to the garden. They are celebrating visiting the whole world in one night. Except they need your help. Four sacks of presents have slipped off the sleigh, so Father Christmas has sent the reindeer out to find them. Can you discover where in the world the sacks have landed?

The ground floor of the house will be feeling festive with a beautiful 15-foot Christmas tree decorating the Great Hall. Nine miniature sacks of presents will also be hiding in the house for everyone to spot.

The Courtyard café will be offering seasonal tasty treats, and, in the shop, you will find gifts for all ages. In the run up to Christmas in the Book Barn, there will be a selection of wrapped ‘mystery’ books for a suggested donation of £3 to £5.

Reindeer World Tour: A Christmas journey at Montacute House

The roast dinner will be available between 12pm-2.30pm and booking is recommended. Please call 01935 826923 to book.

Enjoy a two or three course turkey or vegetarian roast dinner on Wednesdays and Sundays at Montacute House.
Two courses: £25
Three courses: £30 
Price includes a hot drink and mince pie to finish. Children’s mini roast and desert available too.

Christmas dinners at the Courtyard Cafe

Grab your wellies and coats or t-shirts and shades as good weather has no guarantees! 
Purchase a trail map from reception and discover ten fun Spring and Easter activity themed  points around the gardens. After completing your trail head for the shop to collect your chocolate prize (egg). 
 A free-from alternative prize is also available on request.
Trails  available every day from 5 April -  23 April, 10.30 - 4..00
£3-00 per trail, one chocolate egg per trail purchased.
