Complete your visit to Flatford with lunch or an afternoon tea stop in the riverside tea-room and pop into the Flatford shop to discover unique gifts, cards and tasty treats to take home.

Flatford tea-room

Treat yourself to a cuppa and a tasty treat in the Flatford tea-room. Looking for something more substantial? There's a selection of light lunch options, including sandwiches and sausage rolls. There’s also a great selection of homemade cakes and biscuits, and for a special treat why not indulge yourself with a hot chocolate?

Bake of the month

Keep an eye out for the bake of the month. Each month the talented kitchen team create a new recipe to surprise visitors. In the past, these have included both sweet and savoury bakes, so be sure to keep an eye out and perhaps even suggest your own original combinations!

Helping the environment

At the National Trust Vegware packaging is used, which means most disposables are made from plants, so they're fully compostable. The tea-room also accepts reusable cups – bring yours along to help reduce waste and receive 25p off your hot drink.

Allergen information

Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

If you have an allergy or intolerance and would like ingredient information about the food and drink served, please ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

Always check when you visit

Visited before? We sometimes change our recipes to improve quality and flavour, including the ingredients. When you visit, please speak to one of our team to check the current allergen information for your favourite dish.
