Ickworth on the World Stage
Follow one family's unconventional adventures as Ickworth sets sail with the Herveys in 2025.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
The 2025 programme at Ickworth is set to be an exciting and inspirational deep dive into key characters of the past...
Ickworth on the World Stage will be running from 3 March - 2 November and will bring together exhibitions, events and activities that will run at different points throughout the year.
Explore the impact that the Hervey family had on the world, and the way that their time abroad is reflected in how we experience Ickworth today.
Over the course of the year, we're following the travels of three key Hervey characters; Lord John (1696-1743), the Earl-Bishop (1730-1803), and Bess (1759-1824). They were forward-looking and restless, slightly eccentric and often unconventional.
Visit Ickworth from 3 March to enjoy the permanent exhibition in the house and keep an eye on the programme of events that will be rolling throughout the year to mark Ickworth on the World Stage.
There is no need to book your entrance to the house. It is open from 11am - 3pm as usual and normal admission prices to Ickworth Estate apply.
