This is an opportunity to directly shadow one of our Ranger team for a morning, to understand more about the work our rangers carry out to make tis such an important site for migrating, wading and ground nesting birds. Learn more about our visiting wildlife and be involved in bird counts, moth identification and related jobs. Please wear appropriate warm & waterproof outdoor clothing, footwear and be prepared to be walking out on site regardless of weather - it's all part of the job!

Arrive on Orford Quay at 9.45 to check in for a 10am ferry crossing. Sadly late comers can't be accommodated.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear appropriate warm and waterproof outdoor clothing and footwear and be prepared to be outside regardless of the weather.
- Accessibility
Access is via ferry which involves steep and often slippery steps. Please email orfordness@nationaltrust.org.uk to discuss any access requirements.
