Renowned painter Simon Carter takes workshop participants on a walk through the wild Orford Ness landscape. Drawing and painting as we go, Simon will share the details of his own practice which consists of walking and drawing as a daily activity. This practice affords a way of observing and recording landscape that translates topographical points to marks on a page.

- What to bring and wear
Orford Ness is an exposed landscape and weather can change suddenly. Bring warm layers and good walking shoes.

Involves ferry crossing - must be able to negotiate steep and sometimes slippery steps. Mostly made up paths once on site.
