Join a supporter group in Suffolk and meet with other National Trust members and volunteers who feel passionate about the same things you do. There are two supporter groups based in Suffolk, the East Suffolk Association and Essex and Suffolk National Trust Volunteers.

Why join a supporter group?

Getting together with other National Trust enthusiasts, members and volunteers who feel passionate about the same things is priceless. Sharing unique experiences and finding out more about the places you care about is what being part of a local National Trust supporter group is all about.

From listening to expert talks and going on behind-the-scenes tours to taking relaxing holidays or restoring natural habitats in the great outdoors, you’ll be part of something amazing. Supporter groups promote and assist the National Trust’s work within their local area and raise money for conservation and development projects through all kinds of events.

East Suffolk Association

The East Suffolk Association provides a local meeting point for National Trust supporters to enjoy interesting talks and day trips to places of interest, including National Trust and other properties and gardens.

From September to May there’s a varied programme of talks held around once a month at 7.15pm on a Tuesday evening. They meet at Kesgrave Community and Conference Centre, Twelve Acre Approach, Kesgrave, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP5 1JF. Coffee and biscuits are available in the interval.

Essex and Suffolk National Trust Volunteers

The Essex and Suffolk National Trust Volunteers help to maintain special places in Essex and Suffolk. The region extends to Dunwich Heath, Danbury Commons and Ickworth. They can trace the group’s roots back to 1983, and have held several guises over the years, becoming Essex and Suffolk National Trust Volunteers in March 2021.
