Eating at Frensham Little Pond

Close to the sandy beaches and overlooking the water, Tern Café is the perfect place to rest and refuel. Here you can treat yourself to a selection of hot and cold lunches, freshly baked sweet treats and hot and cold drinks.

An outdoors café

Enjoy a welcome pit stop at the Tern Café with its tempting selection of freshly baked cakes, cookies brownies and flapjacks. Hot food is served from 10.30am and includes bacon baps and breakfast baps, sausage rolls and pasties. Cold sandwiches are also served at weekends and during the school holidays.

Filter coffee, tea and hot chocolate is also available alongside a selection of cold drinks. Tub ice-cream is available all year.

The menu changes with the seasons so there's often something new to try. There are gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available.

Seating

There are plenty of picnic tables on the areas around the café and, for showery weather, a small undercover seating area by the servery. Dogs on leads are very welcome.

Bring your own reusable cup

While our take away drinks are served in compostable plant-based cups, if you buy a hot drink from our café using your own reusable cup, we'll give you 25p off your drink.
