For a warm welcome and a hot drink, wholesome lunch or a tasty treat, the Punch Bowl Café is the perfect place to meet up with friends, or relax after a stroll around The Devil’s Punch Bowl.
Open daily, from 9.30am - 4pm, The Punch Bowl Café is just a short step free level walk from the car park. Recently refurbished, it's a welcoming place to treat yourself to a post-walk light lunch or tasty treat, or meet up with friends. Don't forget to browse the selection of second-hand books found at the back of the café.
The menu changes with the seasons so there's often something new to try. There are gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available.
Please note, there is a takeaway service only available 30 minutes before closing time.
Assistance dogs only are allowed in the café, but there’s plenty of outdoor seating where dogs and their owners are welcome to sit and enjoy the view across the South Downs. Water bowls are available by the outdoor seating.
While our take away drinks are served in compostable plant-based cups, if you buy a hot drink from our café or servery using your own reusable cup, we'll give you 25p off your drink
Children can choose their lunch from the kids' pick and mix selection and we also offer half portions of jacket potatoes. Highchairs are available if needed.
The kiosk is open at weekends during school holidays and at half term serving
Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.
If you have an allergy or intolerance and would like ingredient information about the food and drink served, please ask the staff, who will be happy to help.

You can find a selection of second hand books in the café. All the proceeds go directly back to Hindhead Commons and the Devil's Punch Bowl to help with our vital conservation work. Donations of books are most welcome during the café opening hours.
