Visiting the café

Open daily, from 9.30am - 4pm, The Punch Bowl Café is just a short step free level walk from the car park. Recently refurbished, it's a welcoming place to treat yourself to a post-walk light lunch or tasty treat, or meet up with friends. Don't forget to browse the selection of second-hand books found at the back of the café.

What’s on the menu?

You'll find a range of hot and cold meals are available including soup, one pots, hot toasties or paninis, jacket potatoes and sandwiches.  There are also morning pastries, cakes, bakes and scones for a cream tea on offer.

We bake all of our cakes and bakes on site and the menu changes with the seasons, so there's often something new to try.
