Bat Walk
Take a walk with our Holmwood Common Ranger to meet the bats that call this ancient common their home.

A variety of bat species can be found at Holmwood Common including Pipistrelles and Daubenton bats. They roost in some of the trees and feed on the insects in the common.
Route approx. 2 - 3 miles.
No dogs.
Walk will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions.
Normal parking charges apply. NT members park for free

You’ll be outside all the time, so please dress appropriately in warm clothing with sturdy footwear. Bring a torch.

The route will be approx. 3 miles long and will be on hard surface paths with limited seating.
