Facilitated by Artist in Residence Rosie May Jones, this workshop will use word games and poetry techniques to connect to the landscape. You will be introduced to poetic tools which assist in observing the world through more-than-human perspectives. You will be encouraged to create your own poetry, haikus and kennings, whilst directly responding to the inspiring locale of Leith Hill Place. Through discussion and active participation, you will discover how poetry and language can reveal hidden stories encoded within places, and you will also begin to explore how your own personal story is entangled within the places you inhabit and engage with.

No previous poetry experience required.
