Entrance to underground air raid shelters in the common at Limpsfield

Limpsfield air raid shelter tours 

Sat 10 May, tours run from 2pm-4pm. Join the Friends of Limpsfield Common on a tour of the shelters, which were built at the beginning of the Second World War to protect Limpsfield School's pupils from German air raids. This event is run by the Friends of Limpsfield Common. The tours are free but booking is essential as spaces are limited.
