Travel by bus

Bookham Commons- Countryliner 478, Leatherhead-Guildford, alight Rayleigh House, Great Bookham (Monday to Friday). Countryliner 479, Epsom-Leatherhead-Guildford, alight Bookham Station (Monday to Friday with restricted service on Saturday). Ride Pegasus! AccessBus 622, Epsom-Ashtead-Great Bookham (one bus per day), alight Bookham Station.   

Clandon Park- Stagecoach 300 bus route, Falcon bus 479 and White bus service 463 stop close to Clandon Park.

Dapdune Wharf- Frequent services, alight at the Cricket Ground on Woodbridge Road or Friary Bus Station. 

Winkworth Arboretum- Compass travel bus 42 runs Monday to Saturday. The bus stop is by the entrance to Winkworth Arboretum.  

Claremont Landscape Gardens- Falcon Bus 715 stops outside the front gate of Claremont.

Bookham Commons- The nearest station is Bookham Station which is right next to the commons.

Clandon Park- The nearest station is Clandon Station (1.1 miles).  

Dapdune Wharf- The nearest train station is Guildford Station (0.8 miles).

Winkworth Arboretum- The nearest train station is Goldalming station. Onward travel via bus from Godalming High Street. Walking is not recommended.  

Claremont Landscape Garden- The nearest station is Esher Station (2.1 miles). Onward travel via bus.  

Cycle Routes

Bookham Commons- The NCN 22 runs through the area around Bookham Common. See Sustrans for more details. 

Clandon Park- The closest National Cycle Routes are routes 22 and 223 both of which run through Guildford town centre, approximately 4 miles from Clandon. See Sustrans for more details. 

Dapdune Wharf- The closest National Cycle Routes are routes 22 and 223 both of which run through Guildford town centre. See Sustrans for more details. 

Arrival by Foot

Bookham Commons- A short walk via a track from the Tunnel car park, near Bookham station. Walk 1¼ miles north from Great Bookham up the High Street, over the crossroads, and then up Church Road to the Commons.

Clandon Park- Approximately 15-20 minutes from Clandon station. Turn left out of Station Road on to the A247. Travel along the A247 for approximately 1 mile. Please note the pavement is very narrow in places and may not be wide enough for buggies or wheelchairs. Clandon Park is signposted on your right hand side just before you reach the Church of St Peter & St Paul. 

Dapdune Wharf- access to Dapdune Wharf from town centre via towpath or Woodbridge Road.
